Location portrait photography is a more relaxed way to get photographs of your family that will be treasured for generations.
The photo shoots take place in a location you are familiar with, perhaps it is where you first met or where you had your first family picnic. Either way, the surrounding area will be used in your photos to best advantage.
Using a mix of candid and posed shots, your location photo session will last for at least an hour, which will give plenty of variety. With suitable permissions, sessions can take place indoors as well as outside, though local parks make for rewarding locations.
Some ideas around Lincoln:
- Lincoln Cathedral and the Cathedral Quarter make for a fascinating location, with fantastic historic architecture.
- Hartsholme Country Park – A large swathe of parkland with lakes, woodland tracks, play areas and open meadow ensures a varied set of images
- Boultham Park – The Centrepiece of Boultham is undoubtedly the band stand, but don’t forget the lake and the putting green!
The sessions start at 6pm during the summer, and if the weather spoils things, we’ll reschedule again and again if necessary.
